Step in out of the cold and explore the exhibitions on view before getting creative with a FREE hands-on art activity on Family Day.
This year’s free Family Day program at the Kelowna Art Gallery will give families the opportunity to express their creativity together and to connect through art in a fun and inclusive environment.
The activity allows each family member to create their own puzzle piece which will come together to form a family heart-shaped jigsaw puzzle! A range of art materials will be available to make your creation and the Gallery’s helpful staff will be on hand to assist. Spaces are limited, register here.
In addition, families will have the chance to explore the exhibitions, including Her Land: Perspectives in Eco-Art, In a Strange Place, Ebb and Flow and #hopeandhealingcanada.
Visitors can also drop by our Art Lab and have fun creating artwork together using the supplies provided. The Art Lab does not require pre-registration and is self-guided. All materials and instructions will be provided.
We invite families of all ages and sizes to drop by the Gallery any time between 10 am to 4 pm to warm up, create a unique piece of art, and take some time to view our exhibition spaces.
