This year’s Family Day program at the Kelowna Art Gallery will give families the opportunity to express their creativity together and to connect through art in a fun and safe environment.
The activity allows each family member to create their own silly self-portrait which can be strung together to form a unique family banner! A range of art materials will be available to make your creation and the Gallery’s helpful staff will be on hand to assist. Spaces are limited, register here.
In addition, families will have the chance to explore the exhibitions, including your very last chance to view Wolves: The Art of Dempsey Bob. Have fun trying to find the Gopher in a Can in our The General Store exhibition then lie back and relax as you view satellites in the skies above you in All the Stars We Cannot See.
Visitors can also drop-in to our Art Lab and have fun creating art work together using the supplies provided. The Art Lab does not require pre-registration and is self-guided. All materials and instructions will be provided.
We invite families of all ages and sizes to drop by the Gallery any time between 10 am to 4 pm to warm up, create a unique piece of art, and take some time to view our exhibition spaces.
