Join exhibiting artist Annabel Stanley from her art studio and vineyard in West Kelowna for this exclusive behind-the-scenes look at where she creates.
Hear more about her artistic practice and listen in as she shares details about her current exhibition ‘The Circle of Life’, a site-specific installation in the Gallery’s Rotary Courtyard space.
Annabel’s large sculptures, woven from natural materials harvested from throughout the Okanagan, explore how the circle shapes our environment and is reflected in the flora and fauna that surround us.
The Circle of Life is on view until September of 2022.
Speaker Bio: Annabel Stanley
Annabel Stanley sources her materials from throughout the Okanagan Valley and from her vineyard in West Kelowna. She trained in Willow Sculpture with artist Julieann Worrall Hood in Wiltshire, England. Stanley has exhibited extensively in British Columbia and New Zealand.
