Reyhan Yazdani and Nasim Pirhadi

We Are Countless features artwork by interdisciplinary artists Reyhan Yazdani and Nasim Pirhadi. Through an exploration of diverse materials and artistic techniques, both artists investigate themes of belonging, diasporic understanding of self, place, and memory through their lived experiences as Iranian women. This exhibition encourages visitors to engage with powerful art that brings attention to timely social and political discourse.
Reyhan Yazdani is an artist of multilingual heritage working in installation, works on paper, social art, and writing. Currently, she is an instructor at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver.
Nasim Pirhadi is a multi-medium artist and current MFA candidate at UBC Okanagan. She is based in Kelowna.
