The Kelowna Art Gallery and local artists’ group Art Brew have teamed up this fall on the Saturday Morning Cartoons exhibition. This is a juried exhibition, for which artists were asked to take a nostalgic look a the bygone era of old-school cartoons, and then create a work of art that explores the subculture and phenomena surrounding their favorite Saturday-morning cartoons and cartoon characters. Alongside this exhibition we will host a Quick Talks presentation, in which artists will speak about where the traditional visual arts and digital art intersect in their work.
