Satellite space in the Kelowna International Airport (YLW)

This new installation at the Kelowna International Airport will feature large-scale paintings by Okanagan artist Steve Mennie. This series of work highlights the artist’s interest in semiotics, or the study of signs and symbols. Through his stylistic approach rooted in realism and his unique sense of humour, Mennie challenges us to interpret the meaning behind the icons, imagery, and text present on common road signs.
