The Front project space

Ever wanted to have your art shown at the Kelowna Art Gallery? This is your opportunity! The POP exhibition will be open to all Kelowna and area residents.
What fills you with pride about the Okanagan? How would you capture that in art?
Help us to fill the walls of The Front project space of the Gallery with your art this summer. You can create your work of art at home, or in our Art Lab when you visit the Gallery. Submit a drawing or painting of lush vineyards, local beaches, your favorite part of the Okanagan, or even the view from your kitchen window.
The medium is up to you – pencil crayon, collage, paint, etc. Works of art must be no larger than 9 x 12 inches in size, and can be created on the support of your choice: paper, canvas, metal etc.
Submit your registration form with your artwork.. This form can be picked up at the Gallery, or download it here.
Guidelines:
- Open to everyone
- People of all ages are welcome to participate
- Can be a new or previously created work
- Works of art must be no larger than 9 x 12 inches in size
Works may be created on any type of material, and using any medium e.g., pencil crayon, felt marker, paint etc. - Works may be created in the Gallery’s Art Lab, and then left behind for display
- No frames
- One submission per person
- Submit your registration form with your artwork. This form can be picked up at the Gallery, or or download it here.
- Mail or drop off your art starting June 19 and watch the exhibition grow over the summer months
- Art will be displayed from June 19th to September 13, 2015
- Art will be installed in The Front: project space
- No cost to participate
