Patrick Moore, Director of The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA joins Christine May, Curator of the Kelowna Art Gallery for a lively discussion.
“The Warhol Museum” is the go-to global resource for Warhol artworks and archival materials. Together these two Curators will engage in a compelling conversation, sharing a selection of stories about the life and times of Andy Warhol in all of its complexities.
The Andy Warhol Museum (Pennsylvania, PA) has an extensive collection of Warhol works. It includes 900 paintings; approximately 100 sculptures; nearly 2,000 works on paper; more than 1,000 published and unique prints; 4,000 photographs; 60 feature films; 200 Screen Tests; and more than 4,000 videos. Speaker Bio:
Patrick Moore joined The Andy Warhol Museum (Pennsylvania, PA) in 2011. He held the role of Director of Development before becoming Deputy Director and Managing Director. Moore is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with degrees in Theater Direction and English Literature. Moore has authored a number of books, published with Beacon Press and Kensington. His work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, the New York Times, Newsday, and The Advocate.
