Art in Action: Interwoven

April 5 to June 15, 2025

Young artists in grades 9-12 from across Central Okanagan Public Schools have come together to participate in the 39th annual Art in Action student exhibition, Interwoven. This year’s exhibition invites students to explore and celebrate the power of togetherness through artistic expression. The artwork reflects the interconnectedness of humanity, showing how our differences, cultures, and stories weave together to form a rich tapestry of collective identity.

Through their varied approaches, these artists demonstrate how art can bridge divides, foster empathy, and inspire change, making this exhibition a powerful testament to the importance of art in building stronger, more inclusive communities.

The Kelowna Art Gallery is proud to present this exceptional display of student creativity and extends its deepest gratitude to the art educators across Central Okanagan Public Schools. Their unwavering dedication and support are instrumental in bringing this exhibition to life each year, helping to nurture the next generation of artists and community leaders.
