Social Distancing Portraits
Join Burnaby-based artist Adad Hannah to hear more about his current exhibition Social Distancing Portraits.
Social Distancing Portraits presents over 200 video portraits, each with its own unique story to tell. These tableaux vivants (living pictures) document people the artist encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
These portraits share an intimate and personal look at the isolation we collectively experienced, as well as capturing movements for social justice and police reform that occurred throughout the year.
Adad Hannah: Social Distancing Portraits is presented with support from Meiklejohn Architects Inc. It runs until November 14, 2021.
