The Art Lab is a space where the community can engage with art in a hands-on way during their Gallery visit.
Self-guided activities (suitable for all ages and abilities) are provided for Gallery visitors in the Art Lab space. These activities are designed with current exhibitions in mind and allow visitors to explore art materials and processes whilst reflecting on the exhibition.
Current Activities:
Walk in the Woods | Inspired by Floor Opener and The Tree Planters, help us complete our mural by contributing to our collaborative colour filled landscape.
Shape and Make Figures | Inspired by the sculptural figures in Floor Opener, come and make your own shape inspired creations.
Forest Fun | Create your own colourful forest, inspired by our exhibition The Tree Planters.
Tell Your Story | Add your story to our Art Lab wall. Tell a story through art, like our members have in the exhibition The Story You Tell, then hang your piece for all to see.
