REEL ROOTs 2011

An exhibition of new work in film by emerging Indigenous artists

Join us in celebrating the tenth year of this collaboration.

February 12 to April 30, 2011

Back for its tenth year! The Kelowna Art Gallery has worked collaboratively with the En’owkin Centre in Penticton for nine previous years in mounting this annual installation of films. REEL ROOTs 2011 will feature works from the En’owkin Centre’s National Aboriginal Professional Artist Training Program (NAPAT), ULLUS Collective, and the Indigenous Independent Digital Filmaking program (IIDF).

Once again our visitors will have the opportunity to sit in the darkened gallery space to watch these provocative and hard-hitting films. Our thanks go, as always, to Tracey Bonneau, for her creative energy and positive spirit.
