The Kelowna Art Gallery is pleased to present the Superheroes & Supervillains exhibition. Over thirty artists have created works of art that explore the subculture and phenomena surrounding their favorite superhero and villain cartoon characters. This exhibition presents work that ranges from classical animation drawing to digital media and sculpture.
The Gallery teamed up with a local artists’ group called Art Brew for this project. Art Brew is a Kelowna-based high-tech artists’ group that holds bi-weekly meetings to share ideas, network, collaborate, and inspire one another. Art Brew is very active in the community and their focus is on attracting to the Okanagan talented individuals who work in the high-tech industry.
