Mark your calendar and plan to join us for the Kelowna Art Gallery’s annual gala celebration – Appetite for Art Fundraiser 2017.
WHAT IS IT?
For one night only – Appetite for Art takes over the entire Kelowna Art Gallery and combines a celebration of amazing food and drink with a selection of art for purchase.

Mission Hill Family Estate • Tree Brewing Co. • Blue Mountain Vineyards •
Okanagan College Culinary Arts Program • Nesters Market •

Gourmet dishes created by some of the region’s finest chefs will be paired with drinks carefully chosen by premier local producers of wines, beer, and spirits to create a unique dining experience. Works of art by selected artists will be displayed throughout the space, available for guests to purchase, while they enjoy a sumptuous, roving feast.
WORKS OF ART FOR AUCTION
This year, you can bid on the works of art before the event. The online bidding is now open and will close on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 5 pm. Bidding will then continue live at the event on Saturday, April 22, 2017, between 7 and 9:30 pm.

THIS YEAR’S THEME
We invite you to take a “walk in the woods” with us! Guests can expect a captivating evening inspired by the natural world. Prepare to embark on a journey through the gallery, sampling delicious food and drinks, taking in the animated surprise performances, viewing the exhibition of works assembled solely for you and the other attendees of the event, all while being swept away by the woodland atmosphere.
Guests do not need to dress for the theme – but are encouraged to “dress to impress.”
WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?
Proceeds from this fundraising event support educational and children’s programming at the Gallery, including our School Tour program, Family Sundays, Art Adventures camps for kids, art programs for the vision impaired, and CONNECT – an art program for adults with developmental disabilities.
Tickets include:
- A glass of Sparkling Wine upon arrival courtesy of Blue Mountain Vineyards
- Food & Beverage Pairings from five of the region’s finest chefs and local purveyors of wine, beer, and spirits.
- Surprise performances and entertainment by special guests Kinshira Performance Troupe
- Live Auction at 8:30 pm
- Emcee Chris Walker, host of Daybreak South on CBC Kelowna
