Time Frame

The Kelowna Art Gallery is pleased to host our 25th annual Art in Action exhibition titled Time Frame. This exhibition features approximately 125 works of art created by students in Kelowna’s public and private high schools.
Art in Action is a celebration of the creativity and artist talent of local youth. Each year, high-school students are asked to explore their imagination, creating their own creative visions of life through painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, and photography.
The Kelowna Art Gallery has been working closely with the art teachers in School District No. 23 (Central Okanagan) for the past twenty-five years to bring this exhibition together. Art in Action not only highlights the exemplary art activities taking place in local classrooms, but is also meant to give students an increased sense of pride in their work, while providing a valuable learning experience. Art in Action is one of our highlight community exhibitions at the Kelowna Art Gallery, as it is always fascinating to see the thoughts and ideas of our youth.
