Kristin Butler

Kristin Butler has over thirty years of experience in jewellery design, sales, and teaching. Born and raised in Vancouver, Butler was inspired to create jewellery in high school. Following graduation, she attended the three-year Jewellery Arts program at Vancouver Community College, where she was mentored by Karl Mertin and Maciek Walentowicz.

While working at a Vancouver jewellery store, Butler had the opportunity to refine her skills in custom design and gained valuable sales and customer service experience. With this wealth of education and expertise, she opened her own jewellery studio in Gastown with the well-known designer, Vicki Isreal.

In 1999, Butler moved to Kelowna. By 2003, she had founded Beadiful Arts, her bead and jewellery store in the South Pandosy Village. Butler is celebrating the seventh year of Beadiful Arts, supplying Kelowna with beautiful one-of-a-kind beads, custom made jewellery and repairs. She also offers fun-filled and informative classes for those wanting to learn everything from basic to advanced beading techniques.

Butler believes daily creativity brings good health, happiness, and balance to our lives. It heals our souls and brings us together.
