Crystal Przybille

Crystal Przybille received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with Distinction, from the University of Victoria via Okanagan University College in 1997, majoring in painting. She has continued her professional practice, both in Canada and Europe, receiving numerous grants and awards for her work, including Canada Council for the Arts and BC Arts Council grants. Przybille has participated in artist residency programs in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, and in the Netherlands.

Przybille’s paintings are figurative and symbolic. Visual narratives of the psyche and infused with expressive realism, her paintings capture elusive perspectives of a personal, internal and emotional nature.

May is Asian Heritage Month. Help us celebrate how Asian culture has influenced our community. Each weekend in May we will explore a different Asian art form.

This weekend at Family Sundays: Join us on May 20 for Kite-making! Participants will make and decorate kites with teacher, William Chiu. Just $4 per person, incl. Gallery admission.
