The Front project space

The Public Programming Department curates The Front project space in Kiwanis Hall, the Hiram Walker Classroom, and Scotiabank Studio. These exhibitions are organized in partnership and collaboration with community organizations such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the Women’s Resource Centre, engage diverse audiences, and include groups underrepresented in the community. We also use the space for our Member’s Exhibition, Art Teachers and more. Exhibitions in The Front project space are free of charge to the public.

May is Asian Heritage Month. Help us celebrate how Asian culture has influenced our community. Each weekend in May we will explore a different Asian art form.

This weekend at Family Sundays: Join us on May 20 for Kite-making! Participants will make and decorate kites with teacher, William Chiu. Just $4 per person, incl. Gallery admission.
