Connect with art, culture, and your community! On the first Wednesday of each month, the Kelowna Art Gallery will host a variety of speakers that will discuss their artistic practice and current work being exhibited. These illustrated talks are FREE and open to the public.

Wednesday, January 4 | Speaker: Sage Sidley
Local artist Sage Sidley will be discussing the main themes in her work, which focuses on site-specificity and portraiture.

Wednesday, February 1 | Speaker: Carl Hare
Join local writer and poet Carl Hare to hear him compare painting and the poetic imagery in his epic poem “On the River of Time.”

Wednesday, March 1 | Speaker: Angelika Jaeger
Okanagan–based artist, Angelika Jaeger will be speaking about her work, Wanderlust, at the Gallery’s satellite space at the Kelowna International Airport, as well as other aspects of her work.

Wednesday, April 5 | Speaker: Jane Everett
Local artist Jane Everett will discuss her work in the context of art in western Canada.
