Connect with art, culture, and your community! The Kelowna Art Gallery will host a variety of speakers that will discuss their artistic practice and share information about their current projects. These illustrated talks are FREE and open to the public.

Wednesday, January 10
The speaker will be Neil Cadger, one of the primary organizers of Living Things, Kelowna’s International Art Festival, which runs January 9 to February 4, 2018.

Wednesday, February 7
The speaker will be Julie Oakes, a local artist whose upcoming exhibition Awestruck, Calendar of Ecology is being shown at the Kelowna Art Gallery’s satellite gallery at the Kelowna International Airport.

Wednesday, March 7
The speakers will be two artists from the Viral Objects UBC Okanagan student exhibition, on display in the Kelowna Art Gallery’s Front Project Space until April 8.

Wednesday, April 4
The speaker will be Krystal Lezard of the Syilx nation, who works as the Curatorial and Heritage Researcher at the Westbank First Nation Snc?wips Heritage Museum.
