New Satellite "art
wall" at Kelowna Airport
The Kelowna Art Gallery is
pleased to have extended its reach to a much larger audience with the
launching of an art wall in the new departures area of the Kelowna
Airport. This gallery wall is forty feet in length and is protected by a
glass curtain wall. Our curator, Liz Wylie, is commissioning works by
Okanagan-area artists that will be installed for a time period of six
months each.
The staff and Board of
Directors of the Kelowna Art Gallery extend their thanks and appreciation
to Airport Director, Sam Samaddar, and his dedicated staff, for their work
on this collaborative project.
