The first installation of work on the Kelowna Art Gallery's brand new art wall at the airport was commissioned from two local artists, Wanda Lock and Bryan Ryley. Lock included two large vertically oriented scroll-like works on paper, that incorporated her hallmark use of idiosyncratic imagery with her own text elements. Ryley installed two large canvases from his recent Four Corners series of works. While the artists share a love for and vital use of colour, their sensibilities are otherwise quite different, and the simultaneous viewing of their work made for the consideration of interesting points of contrast.
